Light and color share the same wave patterns. This painting vibrates at 498 angstrom units (sound vibrations and color wavelength per second). The essence of all vibrations and rhythm is a sharing of diversities- weak and strong, in and out, up and down, back and forth. This holds true for tides of the ocean as for our heartbeat.
This painting has a strong duality, of day and night. On its own it is very calm and serene, then when illuminated from behind it appears as you see it below with a lot of texture and sharp movement. Please see the following image where the painting stands with no light.
